Gov. Deval Patrick recently returned from a two-week-long trade trip to the Middle East. During nearly seven and a half years in office he has traveled to 13 countries as a way to boost business interests in Massachusetts and has helped lure companies here. As the curtain begins to fall on Patrick's tenure in the corner office, eight of his would-be successors indicated they would be inclined to also travel the world to help “sell” foreign interests on doing business in Massachusetts. Would you? Do you think such trips help the state's economy, especially that of Central Massachusetts? Please vote below and add a comment, especially if Patrick's trips abroad have benefited your company.
How important do you think it is for the governor to promote business for Massachusetts in foreign countries?
